Dance Physiotherapy
Dance Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation is offered by physiotherapists who have years of dance training, a physiotherapy degree and several post graduate courses in dance rehabilitation.
The goal of treatment for the dancer is to get them back into the studio and to give them the tools to keep their bodies moving! Dance specific rehabilitation is available for dancers of any age. All dance forms are able to book with a physiotherapist.
Physiotherapist, Jana Loney has completed several post graduate courses in dance rehabilitation and has 25+ years of dance training.
Physiotherapist, Lisa Mills-Hutton has 40 years of dance training and 12 years of dance teaching and choreography experience. She has completed several post graduate courses in dance rehabilitation and completed physiotherapy mentorships at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Physiotherapy Department and Artist Health Alliance in Toronto.
Exam Candidate Physiotherapist, Camila Schjuman has 20+ years of dance training with Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and Contempoary Dancers of Winnipeg. Camila performed professionally with various organizations and collectives in Winnipeg such as Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers, Gearshifting Performance Works, Art City, Mujer Artista, Koba Entertainment and Nafro Dance Productions.
