Occupational Therapy is a specialized health care service dedicated to helping people optimize independence and ability to accomplish daily activities (work related, leisure related, self care, etc) following an injury or situations of physical or cognitive impairment . Occupational Therapists (O.T.'s) will use specialized assessments and interventions to develop, recover or maintain the meaningful activities or occupations of individuals. ​​
